Nestled in the picturesque Tay River valley, this spacious house served as the perfect home base for our week-long family getaway. With a well-equipped kitchen-ideal for whipping up our Scottish breakfast-there was plenty of room for our supplies. We appreciated the three bathrooms, which made mornings a breeze, especially for my daughter, who needs her Internet fix for social media. Days were filled with adventure, as we explored the nearby landscapes. One highlight was horse riding; we rented horses from a local stable and enjoyed a delightful afternoon riding through the scenic trails. Fishing was another great activity; we spent a quiet morning by the river, teaching my daughter the basics and even caught a couple of trout for dinner. The location is convenient, just a short drive from both Aberfeldy and Pitlochry. While we needed a car to get around, the area's remoteness added to its charm. the owners were welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable. We would return in a heartbeat!
